Paul started his career in foreign exchange markets, before moving onto property investment and qualifying in financial advice and stockbroking in 2010.
Paul spent 8 years in Switzerland, working in private banking and financial advice before returning to the UK in 2018. Paul holds the Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning, as well as the CII Certificate in Mortgage Advice.
Paul draws on his extensive experience and knowledge to cover all aspects of financial planning and investments, and he is able to quickly understand the needs of his clients and work with them to find solutions.
Paul is based in the Saffron Walden office and advises clients across the UK.
Martin Spreadbury Financial Adviser DipPFS, FCA, BSc (Hons),
As a Chartered Accountant and qualified financial adviser, Martin has worked in financial services (Investment Banking and then Wealth Management) since 2004.
This experience allows Martin to offer a broad suite of Wealth Management services, from putting together tax efficient financial plans to the tailoring of Investment and Retirement portfolios to best meet the needs of clients.
Martin has a degree in Maths, Operational Research, Statistics and Economics from the University of Warwick. In his spare time, when he’s not running around after his 3 children, he can be found on the golf course or out walking in the country.
Martin is based in the Horsham office and advises clients across the UK.
Paul Bashford Financial Adviser DipPFS, BA (Hons)
Paul started his career in Corporate Treasury, before joining Barclays Investment Bank and then BNY Mellon for the past 20 years in their Corporate Trust division.
His career has covered all aspects of the debt capital markets, building strong trusted relationships with Lawyers, Treasurers and Investment Bank structurers and financiers. He holds the CII Diploma in Regulated Financial Planning and a BA Hons degree from the Leicester Business School.
Paul’s strong financial background allows him to draw on his skills and expertise, to follow his passion for helping others to navigate the investments and planning journey to a prosperous relaxing retirement.

Tom Thorley - Financial Planner
Tom brings a comprehensive understanding of finance, investment, and economics to his role at Piccadilly Wealth. He provides technical and analytical support to the firm’s financial advisers across a wide range of financial planning disciplines, with expertise in investment analysis and paraplanning.
Tom holds the CFA UK Investment Management Certificate (IMC), the CISI Level 4 Diploma in Investment Advice (Financial Planning & Advice), and the CISI Level 4 Certificate in Paraplanning. He also holds a First-Class Honours degree in Business Economics, which provides a strong grounding in quantitative analysis, financial modelling, and economic theory.
